Our Story
We’ve Been Welding Since 1999
Toolweld, Inc. is a specialty welding company located in Algonquin, Illinois offering micro-TIG, TIG and laser welding services. We service the tool and die, medical and aerospace industries throughout Chicagoland and nationwide. We have specialized in the art of precision tool and die repair through a combination of laser and micro-TIG welding for over 20 years.
Toolweld has written articles in MoldMaking Technology and held a presentation at Amerimold 2016 discussing tool and die repair. In addition, we have written a pamphlet titled UNDERSTANDING TOOL WELDING: A GUIDE FOR TOOL MAKERS that is available for download.
